After I signed off, I didn't do anything with this site for (a) couple of years. But it's mine and I could do what I want. But what? I'd always wanted to convert the various media I've archived through the years, and be able to share it, but bandwith, storage, power and software could be elusive and/or quite expensive. Some things have changed.
I've always done with what I have and in most case's it's served me well. That is what is presented here. Warts and All.
The rest of this site is a tribute to all the faces and voices who, at a single moment in time, I was able to capture.

What you will find here are 40 years of memories in picture and sound of the people and bands I had the pleasure to work with in one form or another; either as a musician, tech or fotb.
Sadly, some of the folks presented here are no longer with us. This site is dedicated to them.
A number of these folks are still (not surprisingly) pretty active. As I update I will create links to their work.
I will be as accurate as I can be in the comments that may follow some of these documents. But I must warn you that these are my memories of the event and cannot be construed as completely reliable.
Except where noted most of these tapes are of AUD(ience) quality. Some are better than others. Some are pretty damn old(6.72) Just a mic (or two) and a deck, or in some cases a board feed.
I was surprised to find that a lot of the photo's didn't really stand the test of time. However; I will be cleaning them up the best I can.
The conversions to mp3 will be 256k. Space availabilty will be limited by this host package (fairly cheepo but works so far, hence the un-sophisticated look). With only a few exceptions feel free to download.
There are many people presented here who I have lost contact with or we've simply moved on. Either way, there are no "gotcha" moments. Everyone was aware of my taping.
It is my hope that all of these folks might find their way here and smile.

Well....it's been a long time, 2013 2014 already. Other things took my time and attention for most of the past few years. There were some things that have occured relative to this site that I'd like to tell you about.
My tech has improved. I've now put together a dedicated computer /video system which will enable me to transfer the many hours of video tape i've amassed over the years. Most of it is from the very late 80's to about '01.
All of the video was shot with a single or in a few cases, 2 camera's. Generally they're in static positions on tripods. Beyond a little pan and zoom that's it for effects. I ran it all through a small video mixer to a Kenwood Stereo VCR that I've had since '87. It still works fine and I'll be using it on this project. On most tapes I ran a stereo feed from the board to the audio in real time.
The software I'll be using has a lot of stuff i could use to "improve" the quality.
I won't be using any of it.
These are home movies.
Hopefully they won't be as boring as what you've just read.
Still here?
coming soon!
